The United States are through to the semi-finals of Copa America, after holding on for a 2-1 win over Ecuador.
This is only the USA's fourth win in the knockout stage of a major tournament, the last being in 2009, for their semifinal win over Spain in the Confederations Cup.
Clint Dempsey has been named man of the match, as he not only scored for the 3rd time in 3 games, but was also involved in every USA goal at this year's Copa America except 1.
