Asian Para Games: Target achieved !

The Malaysian contingent has met their gold medal target at the Asian Para Games in Indonesia.

Youngster Eddy Bernard delivered Malaysia's 15th gold medal when he won the T44 long jump event yesterday.

Paralympian champion, Muhammad Ziyad Zolkefli had delivered the 14th gold earlier in the shot put F20 category, with a new games record of 16.94m.  

Malaysia at the moment are 8th in the medals standings.

Over at the Youth Olympic Games in Argentina.

National shuttler Goh Jin Wei has defeated China's Wang Zhiyi in the final of the women's singles event.

Meanwhile, our men's hockey players also took out Austria 2-nil to advance to the semifinals of the men's 5 a side event.

And, in selected UEFA Nations League results:  Belgium beat Switzerland  2 - 1 while Croatia played out a goalless draw with England.
