What's The Latest On Amorim?

(Ruben Amorim's hasn't joined United yet and he already looks like he's been coaching Maguire for several years) 

Sporting Lisbon's Ruben Amorim says he has yet to decide on whether to become the next Manchester United manager.  

He adds that for now, he will simply focus on preparing his team for their next game in the Portuguese league.  

Meanwhile United captain Bruno Fernandes believes that Amorim would be a good choice to be Man United's next manager.  

He reckons says his fellow countryman has all the qualities needed to succeed in England and push the club to a new level.  

Sporting recently confirmed that United have made an official approach for Amorim, and are willing to pay his 10m euro release clause.  

According to reports, United want to have everything sorted out before this weekend's Premier League clash against Chelsea.  

Also, reports say that United's interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy will leave Old Trafford once the new manager is appointed.  

This would mean that the Dutchman will only be in charge for one match: tomorrow morning's EFL Cup match against Leicester.
