Rodri is this year's Ballon d’Or winner!  

The Man City and Spain midfielder took the honor ahead of the Real Madrid duo of Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham. 

Meanwhile, Aston Villa and Argentina’s Emiliano Martinez was named Goalkeeper of the Year. 

Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe shared the prize for Best Striker. 

Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal was named best Under-21 player. 

While Real Madrid’s Carlo Ancelotti was Coach of the Year.

Man United have officially sacked manager Erik Ten Hag , after over two years at the club.  

This, following a poor start to the season that's left the Red Devils 14th in the EPL standings. 

Ten Hag’s former assistant Ruud Van Nistelrooy has been appointed as interim boss, until a permanent successor is found. 

Meanwhile, United have reportedly opened talks with Sporting Lisbon’s Ruben Amorim, about becoming the new manager at Old Trafford. 

Amorim had been one of the names considered to replace Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool. 

He has also reportedly been identified as a potential successor to Pep Guardiola at Man City.

And Red Bull F1 team principal Christian Horner has hinted that driver Sergio Perez could be replaced after the next week’s Brazilian Grand Prix due to his underperformance.
