Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik are through to the semi-final of the men’s badminton doubles at the Tokyo Olympics.

The Malaysian pair pulled off a stunning upset over world number ones Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo, beating them in straight sets this morning.

This is also Aaron and Wooi Yik’s first ever win over these Indonesian opponents.

National high-jumper Lee Hup Wei says he is eager to get his Olympic campaign underway, with the track and field events to begin tomorrow.

The 34-year-old says he’s 100 percent ready for competitive action, and is more excited the closer he gets to the competition.

Hup Wei is aiming to become the first Malaysian to make the final of an Olympic track and field event.

PSG are said to have opened initial discussions to sign Man United midfielder Paul Pogba.

However, the French giants are undecided whether to move for the player now, or wait until his contract expires next season, when he’ll be available for free.

Some reports say United are asking for 45 million pounds, if Pogba ends up leaving this summer.
