fa cup: liverpool's kids continue to shine

Liverpool have made history in their FA Cup 5th round matches this morning.  

Academy graduates, Lewis Koumas and Jayden Danns both scored to give the Reds a 3-0 win over Southampton.  

It's the first time in the club's history that two players aged 18 or younger have scored in one match for the senior team. 

This, after academy players also helped them lift the EFL Cup.

Man United also made history in their 1-0 FA Cup 5th round win over Nottingham Forest. 

United have now reached the quarterfinals for a 48th time, the most in the tournament's history.

Meanwhile in the draw for the FA Cup quarterfinals:  

Man United will host Liverpool. 

Holders Manchester City are up against Newcastle. 

Chelsea face Leicester  

And Wolves are up against Coventry.

And Christian Horner's position as the Red Bull F1 team principal is safe, after an internal probe cleared him of allegations of inappropriate behaviour.
