Man Utd Wants To Learn From ASEAN Friendly

May 28, 2025

man utd wants to learn from asean friendly

Man United are not taking tonight’s friendly with the ASEAN All Stars lightly.

Manager Ruben Amorim says after a difficult season in which they finished empty-handed, they need every opportunity they can get to prepare for the coming campaign.

He also says the team has been blown away by the reception in Malaysia and will go all out to put on a good show for the fans.

Amorim explains it’s the best way to reward the Malaysian supporters, who’ve passionately stood by the team through thick and thin.

KL police are expecting some 70 thousand fans to attend tonight’s game at the National Stadium…and are urging supporters to use public transport.

Liverpool boss Arne Slot has officially been awarded the League Manager’s Association’s Manager of the Year prize, after guiding the Reds to this season’s EPL title.

Slot also took home the LMA’s Premier League manager of the year honour.

-

Lamine Yamal has signed a contract extension with Barcelona, that will keep him with the Catalan club until 2031.

The 17-year-old winger has been Barca’s standout performer this past season, scoring 18 goals as they won the domestic treble.

-

New Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso has reportedly made PSG’s Joao Neves his top midfield target for the summer.

Sources say the Spanish club could also include the likes of Rodrygo and Eduardo Camavinga as part of a player-plus-cash deal.

-

And, Novak Djokovic has won his opening match at the French tennis Open…as he bids for a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title.
