Sack Me? No Worries

May 26, 2024

sack me? no worries

Erik Ten Hag is defiant, amid claims he’ll be sacked as Man United boss despite their victory over Man City in last night’s FA Cup final.

He says he’s not sure what will happen next, but if he is let go, he will simply move on and win trophies at another club.

United stunned City 2-1 in the final, to claim their 13th FA Cup trophy.

It also confirmed their spot in next season’s Europa League alongside Tottenham.

Meanwhile, Man City boss Pep Guardiola is taking full responsibility for their FA Cup final defeat.

He admits he got his tactics wrong.

The loss means that the EPL champions missed out on winning the League and Cup double.

--

PSG have completed the domestic treble after beating Lyon 2-1 to win the French Cup.

It was also Kylian Mbappe’s final outing for the French club, before he completes his long-rumoured move to Real Madrid.

--

Meanwhile, Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen claimed a domestic double after beating Kaiserslautern to win the German cup.
