Will Rashford Be Sold?
Dec 25, 2024
Manchester United may struggle to offload Marcus Rashford in January.
The attacker is out of favour at Old Trafford and is said to be available for £40 million.
However, reports say that the Premier League’s profitability rules would make it hard for many clubs to sign him, as they already spent heavily before the start of the season.
Clubs may also struggle to match Rashford’s current wages, of around £300,000 per week.
However, there’s a chance that he could join PSG, who are looking for a long-term replacement for Kylian Mbappe.
Rashford has also been linked with Barcelona, who could offer Ansu Fati to United in a player-plus-cash deal.

Arsenal will be given the chance to sign PSG’s Randal Kolo Muani on loan in the January transfer window.
The forward is said to be out of favour at PSG, making just two starts in the French League this season.
This, as Arsenal are trying to cope with Bukayo Saka’s injury, which could sideline him until March.

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has played down claims that his team are Premier League title challengers, as he believes that they are still some ways behind clubs like Liverpool and Man City.
Chelsea are currently on a run of fine form that has taken them to 2nd place in the standings, 4 points behind Liverpool, who still have a game in hand.
