Wenger Questions Tuchel Appointment
Oct 25, 2024
Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has questioned the appointment of Thomas Tuchel as the next England manager.
Wenger says if ideally, the manager of a national team should be from that country, instead of a foreigner.
The English FA previously said that Tuchel will take charge in January.
He'll be England's third foreign manager after Sven Goran Eriksen and Fabio Capello, and the first German to take the job.

Latest reports suggest that Diogo Jota will be ruled out for this weekend's Premier League clash against Arsenal.
This, as medics are still trying to determine the extent of a rib injury that he picked up in their recent win over Chelsea.
In a worst-case scenario, the Portuguese forward could be sidelined for up to 6 weeks.

Italian reports say Liverpool could send Federico Chiesa out on loan in January, to help the winger rediscover his fitness and form.
Chiesa, who has only made 3 appearances this season, has been linked with clubs including Roma and both Milan clubs.
