Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp has won the League Managers Association’s Manager of the Year award.

It is in recognition of the Reds’ impressive campaign where they won the FA Cup as well as the EFL Cup titles and finished as Premier League runners-up, just a point behind champions Man City.

Klopp was also named the Premier League Manager of the Season.

Erling Haaland is on the verge of completing his move to Man City.

Reports say the Borussia Dortmund striker is already in the UK, and could finalise his 50-plus million pounds transfer by as early as today.

It comes after City earlier announced that they’ve reached an agreement to sign the Norwegian international – who is one of the most sought-after young players in football.

Malaysia has made the last four of the Asia Hockey Cup, after a hard-fought 5-4 win over South Korea.

It is the Speedy Tigers’ second straight group win, having recorded a big opening victory against Oman.

The Malaysians will wrap up their group campaign against Bangladesh tomorrow…with another win to secure the national teams spot as Group B winners.
