Liverpool To Revive Zubimendi Interest

Sep 24, 2024

liverpool to revive zubimendi interest

Liverpool could reportedly make another move for Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi in January.

The Merseyside giants tried to sign the Spain winger in the off-season, but he turned them down in favour of staying at the La Liga club.

However, reports say that he’s now having second thoughts and would welcome a second offer from Liverpool.

Gareth Southgate could become the next manager of Everton.

According to reports, Everton’s incoming new owner Dan Friedkin has identified the former England boss as a possible replacement for Sean Dyche, who’s under pressure after their poor start to the season.

The Toffees are winless so far this season and are currently in the relegation zone.

--

This, as Friedkin’s consortium reportedly agreed to buy a 94% stake in Everton, in a deal said to be worth around £400m

For the record, the Friedkin Group are also the owners of Serie A giants Roma.

--

Former Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo is ready to come out of retirement to rejoin the Catalan giants on a short-term deal.

This, as Barca are considering hiring a temporary stopper to replace Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who’ll be out for several months due to a knee injury.
