Dec 23, 2023
(Whether you're a brother or whether you're a mother you're stayin' alive, stayin' alive, ah ah ah ah)
Man City have won the Fifa Club World Cup.
They defeated South American champions Fluminense 4-0 thanks to a Julian Álvarez brace, Phil Foden’s strike and a Fluminense own goal.
Victory means the European champions have made history by becoming the first English team to win FIVE trophies in a calendar year.
This, after they completed the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League treble last season, and won the Uefa Super Cup.

Aston Villa have missed out on a chance to top the Premier League table, when they were held to a 1-all draw by Sheffield United.
Instead, Villa lie in 2nd place in the standings, behind leaders Arsenal on goal difference.

Luiz Suarez is reuniting with his former Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi, after the Uruguayan striker signed a deal to join Inter Miami.
Suarez, who terminated his contract with Gremio, will join Miami at the start of next year’s MLS campaign.
