Reds Return To Winning Ways

Liverpool are back to winning ways after beating Eintracht Frankfurt 5-1 in the Champions League.

Reds captain Virgil Van Dijk – who was one of the scorers this morning – says the result gives them something to build on after a disappointing run of four straight losses.

Liverpool, however, are sweating on the fitness of Alexander Isak, after the striker had to be taken off with a suspected groin injury.

In other selected results, a youthful Chelsea side thrashed Ajax 5-1…with the Blues fielding ten players aged 21 or younger.

Jude Bellingham scored his first goal of the season to help Real Madrid to a 1-0 win over Juventus.

Bayern Munich hammered Brugge 4-0 to maintain their 100% start in the tournament.

While Tottenham and Monaco played out a goalless draw.
