Liverpool Extend Their Lead At EPL Summit

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has hailed his team’s fighting spirit after they came from behind to beat Luton 4-1 in the EPL this morning.

The win leaves the league leaders four points ahead of second-placed Man City in the standings, although City have a game in hand.

The victory also gives Klopp’s side good momentum heading into the EFL Cup final against Chelsea this weekend.

Elsewhere, Porto edged past Arsenal 1-0 in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie.

Meanwhile, Barcelona and Napoli settled for a 1-1 draw in their first leg match.

Bayern Munich have reportedly approached Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso over a potential move to replace Thomas Tuchel.

This, after the Bavarian side confirmed that Tuchel will be stepping down at the end of the season in the wake of a recent run of poor results.
