2020 F1 calendar unveiled

Aug 29, 2019

Formula 1 has unveiled its proposed calendar for 2020.

It will have a whopping 22 races in total, making it the longest-ever season in F1.

To accomodate the tight schedule, 7 of these races will be staged on back-to-back weekends.

Among the highlights is the debut of the Vietnamese Grand Prix, which will be held on the weekend of April 5th, while the returning Dutch GP will take place on May 3rd.

The Neymar transfer saga is going to drag on for a while longer.

This is after PSG rejected Barcelona's latest bid for the Brazilian superstar.

According to French reports, in addition to 118 million pounds cash, Barca were also offering Ivan Rakitic and Jean-Clair Todibo on permanent transfers, and Ousmane Dembele on a season-long loan.

However, PSG turned down the move because they want more money, having spent nearly 200 million pounds to sign Neymar just two years ago.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says it will be very hard for the Reds to defend their Champions League title this season.

He says this year's Group Stage is filled with a lot of strong teams, who've all reinforced their squads over the summer.

Meanwhile, the draw for the Champions League Group Stage is happening from midnight tonight.

Catch it LIVE on Astro channels 819 and 820.
