United Beat Liverpool At Anfield

Harry Maguire scored a late winner, as Man United snatched a 2-1 EPL victory over Liverpool.

This is the Red Devils’ first victory at Anfield since 2016.

As for Liverpool…they’ve now lost four games in a row across all competitions.

Last night’s other Premier League game saw Aston Villa defeat Tottenham 2-1, denying Spurs the chance to move up to second in the standings.

Over in Spain…Kylian Mbappe scored the only goal of the game as Real Madrid overcame Getafe 1-0 to return to the top of La Liga.

Xabi Alonso’s side are currently two points ahead of second-placed Barcelona.

Malaysia has been drawn in Group B together with Laos and regional powerhouse Vietnam…for the men’s football competition at the upcoming SEA Games.

Malaysia’s Low Zi Yu and Noraqilah Maisarah Ramdan have finished as runners-up at the World Junior Badminton Championships, after losing to their opponents from China in the girls’ doubles final.

And, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen has won the US F1 GP…taking the chequered flag ahead of Lando Norris in the McLaren and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc.
