Salah Wins PFA Player of the Year Prize

Mo Salah has made yet another entry in the history books, after winning the PFA Player of the Year award.
The Egyptian, who helped Liverpool to the EPL title last season, is the first player to win the PFA honour on three occasions.
Earlier, Salah also became the first player to win the Premier League Player of the Season, Golden Boot and Playmaker awards in the same season.

Newcastle have issued a statement, strongly denying that there was an agreement in place to let Alexander Isak leave this summer.
It says it always strives to keep its best players, and any transfer decision has to be made in the best interest of the club.
This, after Isak had claimed that Newcastle had broken its promise to let him leave, when it rejected Liverpool’s 110 million pounds offer for the player over the summer.

Jannik Sinner has pulled out of the mixed-doubles event at the US tennis Open, as he races to be fit in time for the singles competitions which starts next week.
It comes after the world number one was forced to retire from his Cincinnati Open final against Carlos Alcaraz due to illness.
