ange gets the sack

Ange Postecoglou has been sacked as Nottingham Forest manager after just 39 days in charge.

It follows their 3-0 EPL defeat to Chelsea, which leaves them without a win in eight matches across all competitions.

Postecoglou’s dismissal also sets the record for the shortest permanent managerial stint in Premier League history.

Sources say former Everton manager Sean Dyche and ex-Man City boss Roberto Mancini are being eyed as possible replacements.

In other selected EPL results…Arsenal moved three points clear at the top of the table after a 1-0 win over Fulham.

Man City overcame Everton 2-0.

While Brighton edged past Newcastle 2-1.

Back home in Malaysian FA Cup action…Selangor thrashed Negeri Sembilan 4-0 in the first leg of their quarterfinal.
