Dalot Defends Ronaldo

Portugal's Diogo Dalot has defended teammate Cristiano Ronaldo's form in their 2-1 Euro 2024 win against the Czech Republic.  

Ronaldo, who's playing in a record 6th European Championships, came under some criticism after he failed to find the back of the net.  

However, Dalot says Ronaldo put in an energetic performance that was crucial to them claiming the victory.

Former Man City player Danny Mills has urged the club to make a move for Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, IF boss Pep Guardiola decides to leave at the end of next season.  

He says Arteta would be the best replacement having previously served as Guardiola's assistant at City.

Man United legend Ruud van Nistelrooy is reportedly the top candidate to become manager of relegated Burnley.  

He will replace Vincent Kompany, who is now at Bayern Munich.

The Youth and Sports Minister has congratulated Malaysian bowler Sin Li Jane, following her victory at the US Women's Open.  

Li Jane became the first Malaysian, and Southeast Asian to win the tournament, after she defeated her Latvian opponent in the final.  

Our previous best achievement was Datuk Shalin Zulkifli's third-place finish back in 2008.
