Spain have ended their 11 year trophy drought, after winning the UEFA Nations League this morning.

Keeper Unai Simon saved two spot kicks, as they beat Croatia 5-4 in a penalty shootout, after the game ended goalless after extra time.

Spain are the third country to win the competition after Portugal and France….and second country after France, to win the World Cup, European Championship and Nations League titles.

The Youth and Sports Minister has congratulated Datuk Azizulhasni Awang and Shah Firdaus Sahrom, following their achievements at the Asian Track Cycling Championships yesterday.

Hannah Yeoh says officials are also looking at how to further assist these two riders, moving forward.

This is after The Pocket Rocketman won gold in the keirin event, while Shah Firdaus picked up the bronze.

Max Verstappen has won the Canadian Grand Prix to deliver Red Bull their 100th win in F1.

Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso came in second, while Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton finished third.

And mens double pair Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik have finished as runners-up at the Indonesian Badminton Open, after losing to their opponents from India in straight sets in the final.
