Ange Closing In On New Job

Ange Postecoglou could be close to landing a new club, just weeks after he was sacked by Tottenham.  

According to British reports, the Australian is being targeted by Saudi club al-Ahli, amid doubts about the future of their current coach.  

It's believed that Postecoglou would prefer to stay in the EPL for the coming season.  

However, the Europa League winner would be willing to move overseas for the right offer.

Real Madrid are now hoping to sign Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate, after they snagged his former Reds teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold.  

Spanish reports claim that Real are trying to persuade Konate to join them on a free transfer next summer, when his Liverpool contract expires.

F1 stewards have upheld Mercedes driver George Russell's victory at the Canadian GP, after rejecting a protest from Red Bull.  

The stewards dismissed Red Bull's claims that Russell breached the rules by driving erratically during a safety car period, and for unsportsmanlike behaviour.

Malaysian squash star Ng Eain Yow has withdrawn from this week's Asian Championships in Kuching due to illness.  

The top seed was hoping to win the title for a third straight time, after winning the tournament in 2021 and 2023.
