Premiership Clubs Advance In The Europa League

Elsewhere, fellow English side Aston Villa managed to secure a place in the last 16 of the Europa Conference League, after their 1-1 draw with Zrinjski Mostar.

Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe have made the final shortlist for the men’s player of the year prize at this year’s FIFA Best Awards.

The winner will be announced at a ceremony on January 15th.
