BAC Champs Rise In Badminton World Rankings

Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik are now ranked 4th in the BWF World Rankings.
The Malaysian duo moved up two spots in the ranking, following their historic win at the Badminton Asia Championships in China.
Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin remain the highest-ranked Malaysian men's doubles pair, at number 2.
Elsewhere, Pearly Tan – M. Thinaah held on to 5th place in the women's doubles ranking.
Lee Zee Jia, who is still recovering from injury, slipped to 9th in the men's singles.

The football governing body for Northern and Centra America has joined the Asian Football Confederation, in rejecting a proposal to expand the 2030 World Cup to 64 counties.
The proposal was made by the South American football confederation, to mark the competition's 100-year anniversary.

Man United have ruled out selling goalkeeper Andre Onana this summer UNLESS they can make a profit off his departure.
United signed Onana for £47 million pounds back in 2023.
