Arsenal came from behind to pull off a 2-1 North London derby win over Tottenham.

Eric Lamela gave Spurs the lead after 33 minutes only for Martin Odergaard to equalize before the break… with Alexander Lacazette securing the win with a second-half penalty.

Tottenham also had to play the final 15 minutes with just 10 men after Lamela was sent off for two yellow cards.

In other EPL results, second-placed Man United defeated West Ham 1-0 to reduce the gap with leaders Man City to 14 points.

The match was decided by a Craig Dawson own goal.

Elsewhere Leicester thrashed bottom club Sheffield United 5-0

While Brighton defeated Southampton 2-1.

Inter Milan have gone nine points clear at the top of the Serie A standings after beating Torino 2-1.

This, as second-placed AC Milan suffered a 1-nil defeat to Napoli.

While Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hattrick to help Juventus defeat Cagliari 3-1.

Meanwhile, the great Pele has congratulated Cristiano Ronaldo after the Juventus star surpassed the Brazilian legend’s tally of official goals.

Ronaldo’s goals against Cagliari took his career tally to 770, which is three clear of Pele’s mark.

Japan is considering limiting the number of spectators for the Tokyo Olympics to 50 percent of a venue’s capacity, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This, amid widespread reports that the host country will also ban foreign spectators from the Games.
