Atletico Madrid are through to the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

The Spanish club beat Inter Milan 2-1 in the second-leg of the last-16 this morning to level the tie at 2-2 on aggregate and take the game to spot kicks.

Atletico then won the penalty shootout 3-2...to knock last season’s finalists out of the competition.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund also advanced to the quarters after defeating PSV Eindhoven 2-0 this morning and 3-1 on aggregate.

In other results, Bournemouth defeated Luton Town 4 – 3 in English Premier League action.
