Man City edge closer to the EPL title

Man City have taken a massive step towards the EPL title after a comfortable 3-0 win over Fulham this morning.
Sergio Aguero was among the scorers with his first league goal for the club in 14 months.
City now have a 17-point lead at the top of the standings, although they’ve played two matches more than second-placed Man United.
In other EPL results…Leeds held Chelsea to a goalless draw.
Burnley pulled off a surprise 2-1 win over Everton.
While Crystal Palace edged past West Brom 1-0.

Over in Spain, leaders Atletico Madrid missed the chance to open up an eight-point lead after they were held to a goalless draw by Getafe.
This, as Real Madrid leapfrogged Barcelona into second place after a 2-1 win over Elche.

Robert Lewandowski is now the joint-second all-time scorer in the Bundesliga after his goal in Bayern Munich’s 3-1 win over Werder Bremen took his career tally to 268.

Lionel Messi could open talks as soon as tomorrow to resolves his Barcelona future.
The Argentine is currently in the final three months of his current deal, and is free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs.
However, Barca are hoping to keep Messi at least for another season, with negotiations expected to begin this week.
