harry kane in line for 100th england cap

Harry Kane is on course for his 100th appearance for the England national team.

He will hit the century mark in tomorrow’s Nations League tie against Finland.

The Bayern Munich striker will become only the 10th England player to achieve the milestone.

Kane will also be the first person since Wayne Rooney in 2014…to earn a 100th cap for the Three Lions.

-

Meanwhile, in the selected Nations League results… France overcome Belgium 2-0

Italy defeated Israel 2-1

Turkiye had a 3-1 win over Iceland

Wales beat Montenegro 2-1 in Craig Bellamy’s first game in charge.

While Norway defeated Austria 2-1…in a match that saw Arsenal’s Martin Odegaard pick an up ankle injury, ahead of this weekend’s North London derby against Tottenham.

-

Max Verstappen admits he will need to be perfect in the final eight races of the season, if he’s to defend his F1 world title.

The Red Bull driver currently holds a 62-point lead in the standings…but has failed to win the last six GP’s… amid a resurgence from McLaren and Mercedes.

-

And, for the first time ever, over a million fans attended the recent US tennis Open…with the attendance boosted by the presence of American players in the men’s and women’s finals.
