Benzema hattrick knocks PSG out of the Champions League

Karim Benzema scored a spectacular hattrick to help Real Madrid beat PSG 3-1 in the second-leg of the Champions League last-16 this morning.
Two of his goals came in the span of just two minutes.
Real – who lost 1-0 in the first leg - now advance to the quarterfinals on a 3-2 aggregate score line.

Meanwhile, Man City have cruised into the quarters after a goalless draw with Sporting Lisbon this morning.
The Premiership side advance 5-0 on aggregate, thanks to their big win in the first leg.

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy is facing several weeks on the sidelines…after picking up a knee injury over the weekend.
Vardy had recently just returned from a two-month layoff due to a hamstring problem.

There’s still a chance that Lee Hup Wei will feature at the Hanoi SEA Games.
The veteran high-jumper had failed to meet the qualifying mark, but the Malaysian Athletics Federation is thinking about giving him another chance to make the cut, based on his vast experience.
Hup Wei had earlier said he will retire, if he doesn’t get selected for the SEA Games.

Novak Djokovic has pulled out of the Indian Wells and Miami tennis Opens, because of US Covid regulations.
The rules require foreign visitors to be vaccinated in order to enter the US…but Djokovic has not been immunised.
