Nations League: Kane rescues a point for England against Germany

Harry Kane scored his 50th goal for England, to help them to a 1-1 draw with Germany in their Nations League clash this morning.

It was the Three Lions’ first point in this year’s competition, having lost to Hungary in their opening game.

Another big result saw Italy pick up their first win of the group stage…beating Hungary 2-1.

Australia have beaten the UAE 2-1 in their Asian Zone World Cup playoff this morning.

The Socceroos will next face Peru in an intercontinental playoff next week, for one of the final two places at football’s showpiece event.

The last World Cup slot will go to the winner of the Costa Rica-New Zealand tie.

PSG have reportedly identified Jose Mourinho as their next head coach.

Insiders say the former Chelsea, Real Madrid and Man United boss is being targeted to take over, IF the French champions end up sacking Mauricio Pochettino.

However, Mourinho is understood to be reluctant to leave his current club Roma, with whom he recently won the inaugural Europa Conference League.

Tottenham have reportedly opened talks to try and sign Man United’s Marcus Rashford.

The striker has had a poor season with the Red Devils, leading to speculation of a possible summer exit.

Rashford’s price tag, however, could make a move to Spurs difficult…with United demanding around 70 million pounds for the England international.
