Chelsea have qualified for the quarterfinals of the Champions League after a 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the second leg of their last-16 tie at Stamford Bridge this morning.

Raheem Sterling scored in the first half before Kai Havertz sealed the win with a second-half penalty, to give the Blues a 2-1 comeback win on aggregate.

This is Chelsea’s second straight win in all competitions this month, having gone the whole of February without a single victory.

Another Champions League last 16 second leg tie this morning saw Benfica thrash Club Brugge 5-1, to win 7-1 on aggregate.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s on-loan forward Joao Felix has suggested that his future at the club could depend on their Champions League qualification next season.

UEFA will provide refunds for Liverpool fans who purchased tickets for the 2022 Champions League final in Paris.

This, following a recent report that found the footballing governing body responsible for chaotic scenes outside the stadium before kick off, that saw some supporters tear-gassed.

A private equity firm has partnered with the WTA Tour, that will see 150 million dollars invested into women’s tennis.

This will provide a much-needed boost for the women’s game, where prize money continues to lag behind the men’s ATP Tour.
