Malaysia now officially has two gold medals at the Paris Paralympics!

This, after national para powerlifter Bonnie Bunyau Gustin lifted a new world record in the men's 72 kilograms final to secure our second gold.

Our first gold came in the form of para-shuttler Cheah Liek Hou in the men's singles SU5 category on Monday.

Meanwhile, all eyes are on Datuk Abdul Latif Romly, who could become the first Malaysian to win three gold medals at the Games.

The defending champion will aim to secure the Malaysian contingent's third gold early tomorrow morning when he competes in the men's T20 long-jump event.

In UEFA Nations League results, Kevin de Bruyne scored twice to help Belgium defeat Israel 3-1 in their League Group 2 opener.

Meanwhile, Italy eased past France also 3 – 1.

Elsewhere, Paraguay held Uruguay to a goalless draw in the South American World Cup qualifiers.

The match also brought an end to Luis Suarez 17-year-international career, who announced his international retirement earlier.

In other selected results, Brazil edged past Ecuador 1 – nil.

While Peru and Columbia played out a 1 – all draw.

And Haas has announced that Oliver Bearman will replace Kevin Magnussen at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

This, after the F1 driver was slapped with a one race ban at the Monza GP following a collision with Alpine's Pierre Gasly which saw him reach the maximum number of
