Fulham Inflict Rare Loss On Liverpool

Liverpool’s march towards the Premier League title has suffered a slight setback, following a surprise 3-2 defeat to Fulham.
It’s only the Reds second defeat of the season and ends their 26 match unbeaten run in the EPL.
Despite the loss, Liverpool still have an 11-point lead at the top of table, and need 11 points more from their remaining seven games to be crowned champions.

In other EPL results…Man United and Man City played out a goalless draw.
It also ended goalless between Brentford and Chelsea.
While Southampton became the first team in EPL history to be relegated with seven matches to go after their 3-1 defeat to Tottenham.

Over in La Liga, third-placed Atletico kept their slim title hopes alive with a 2-1 win over Sevilla.
Diego Simeone’s side are now seven points behind leaders Barcelona with eight matches remaining.

Red Bull’s Max Verstappen has won the Japanese F1 GP, taking the chequered flag ahead of the McLaren duo of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.
Its his first win of the season and moves him a point behind championship leader Norris in the driver’s standings.

And, Malaysian runner Shereen Samson Vallabuoy has picked up her first title of the year, winning the 400m gold medal at a track meet in Florida over the weekend.
