This, after defeating their Indonesian opponents in second round action.  

Fellow doubles pair Man Wei Chong/Tee Kai Wun also advanced after beating their opponents from Denmark.  

Separately, men's singles shuttler Leong Jun Hao is also through, while compatriots Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik crashed out.

Malaysia will aim to return to winning ways when they face Kyrgyzstan in group action tonight at the World Cup qualifiers! 

Harimau Malaya will need to keep their hopes alive as Kyrgyzstan target revenge, having lost to Malaysia 4 – 3 in the first-round meeting last year.
