Man United Sack Amorim

Man United are searching for another manager after announcing the sacking of Ruben Amorim after 14 months in charge.

He leaves with a record of 24 wins, 18 draws and 21 losses, which is the worst win ratio of any permanent United boss.

The Red Devils will reportedly wait until the summer to appoint a permanent successor and will make do with an interim boss until the end of the season.

So far, the club has not publicly identified any of its long or short term targets, although the likes of Oliver Glasner, Andoni Iraola and Enzo Maresca have already been linked with a move to Old Trafford.

Man City have stepped up their interest in Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi…as the Citizens look for urgent cover amid a defensive crisis at the Etihad.

City currently have Josko Gvardiol, Ruben Dias and John Stones all out injured.

Over at the Africa Cup of Nations…Nigeria have advanced to the quarterfinals following a 4-0 victory over Mozambique.

While Egypt secured their place in the last eight after beating Benin 3-1.

Back home…former Harimau Malaya head coach Kim Pan Gon has been appointed as the new head coach of Super League side Selangor FC.

And, the new Cadillac F1 team has announced the appointment of China’s Zhou Guanyu as its reserve driver for its debut season this year.
