Liverpool Star Confirms Future Plans

Trent Alexander-Arnold is leaving Liverpool! 

This was confirmed by the EPL champions, who said that the right-back has confirmed his intention to leave Anfield when his contract expires at the end of next month. 

He hasn't announced his future plans but he has been linekd with Real Madrid for several months now.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are looking at the positives after their 3-1 EPL loss to Chelsea this morning. 

Reds midfielder Harvey Elliot admits they started the game badly, but is happy with how they tried to fight back after the break.   

He also urged his teammates to maintain their focus ahead of their next game – against second-placed Arsenal.  

This morning's defeat was Liverpool's first match since they were crowned Champions.

Also, Liverpool have reportedly joined Arsenal and Chelsea in the race to sign Rodrygo from Real Madrid.  

It's believed that Real are willing to sell him, to raise funds to help beef up their backline. 

Real have already identified several possible defensive targets this summer, including Bournemouth's Dean Huijsen, and Arsenal's William Saliba.
