Chelsea Score Late To Deny City

Man City have lost ground in the Premier League title race, after being held to a 1-1 draw by Chelsea this morning.

The Citizens were seconds away from a win, before Enzo Fernandez stepped up with a crucial equalizer for the Blues in injury-time.

The result moves City back up to second in the standings on goal difference, although they are now six points adrift of leaders Arsenal.

In other EPL results…Liverpool were held to a 2-2 draw by Fulham.

Leeds and Man United played out a 1-1 draw.

It also ended 1-1 between Tottenham and Sunderland.

Newcastle defeated Crystal Palace 2-0.

While Brentford thrashed Everton 4-2.

Real Madrid have reduced the gap with La Liga leaders Barcelona to four points, after a thumping 5-1 win over Real Betis.

Back home, JDT have opened up an 11-point lead at the top of the Malaysian Super League standings, after a 2-0 win over Selangor.

And, hosts Morocco are through to the quarterfinals at the Africa Cup of Nations after a 1-0 win over Tanzania.

They will next face five-time champions Cameroon, who secured their place in the quarters by beating South Africa 2-1.
