SIC hopeful for Malaysian MotoGP greenlight

The Sepang International Circuit is hopeful that the government will give the green light for this year's Malaysian MotoGP to take place as scheduled in October. 

It says it's currently in discussions with the relevant authorities to determine the COVID-19 SOPs for the race. 

This, after the global pandemic forced last year's Malaysian GP to be cancelled

Meanwhile  a pre-season test in Sepang earlier this year also had to be called off due to the Movement Control Order.

Uefa has reminded referees to ALWAYS maintain a professional distance from footballers. 

It says this is to ensure that match officials always command their respect. 

Earlier this week, the assistant referee Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League match approached star striker Erling Haaland, and asked him to autograph his yellow and red. 

Meanwhile according to ESPN, the signed cards will soon be auctioned off, and the proceeds will be given to an autism charity.

Liverpool captain lends his weight to the fight against cyberbullying

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has given full control of his social media accounts to an anti-cyberbullying support group.

The group, Cybersmile Foundation will use Henderson's online presence to raise awareness on cyberbullying and racist abuse, and offer help to victims of such such attacks. 

This, after several Liverpool players were racially abused on social media following their Champions League quarter final first-leg loss to Real Madrid.
