olympic heartbreak for our doubles players

Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik's bid for gold at the Paris Olympics have ended.

This is after the badminton men's doubles pair were beaten in 3 sets by the top seeds from China in their semifinals clash.

Aaron and Wooi Yik will now compete in the bronze medal playoff.

Pearly Tan/M Thinaah will also be competing for bronze, after their defeat in the women's doubles semis.

Early and Thinaah will take on the number-4 seeds from Japan tomorrow, and win will see them becoming the first Malaysian women's doubles Olympic medalists.

Lee Zii Jia will take on Anders Antonsen in the men's singles quarterfinals tomorrow morning.

His game is scheduled to start at around 1.50am and you can catch it live on Syok, that's s-y-o-k, via the Syok app or website!
