griezmann quits international football

France striker Antoine Griezmann has announced his retirement from international football at the age of just 33.

He made 137 appearances for his country, scoring 44 goals and helping them win the World Cup and Nations League.

Griezmann is the latest big name from his generation of French stars to quit the national team after Hugo Lloris, Olivier Giroud and Raphael Varane.

Erik Ten Hag’s job as Man United boss is safe, at least for now.

Insiders say the club remains focused on its upcoming games, and there’s been no talk of bringing in a replacement.

This, after their loss to Tottenham over the weekend left United 13th in the league standings with just two wins from their six games so far.

Brazil star Neymar has returned to training with Al Hilal after spending nearly a year on the sidelines recovering from a knee problem.

He had played just five games for the Saudi club, before picking up the injury while on international duty in October last year.
