Euro 2024: Lucky Escape For England

England have booked their place in the quarterfinals of Euro 2024 after a dramatic 2-1 win over Slovakia.

The Three Lions had fallen behind in the first half  and were just seconds away from elimination… before Jude Bellingham netted a late equalizer…to take the game into extra-time.

Harry Kane then scored the winner to set up a clash against Switzerland in the last eight.

Meanwhile, Spain had a comfortable 4-1 win over Georgia in the last-16.

It sets up a blockbuster quarterfinal clash with hosts and co-favourites Germany.

George Russel has won an incident-packed Austrian F1 GP…taking the chequered flag ahead of Oscar Piastri and Carlos Sainz.

Pole sitter Max Verstappen only managed a fifth-place finish…after receiving a 10-second penalty for causing a collision with Lando Norris.

Onto two wheels…Francesco Bagnaia has won the Dutch MotoGP with Jorge Martin and Enea Bastianini taking the remaining podium places.
