Musa Aman allowed to seek medical treatment overseas...

Jan 07, 2019

Former Sabah Chief Minister, Tan Sri Musa Aman has been allowed to seek medical treatment overseas in London and Singapore.

This, after the KL Sessions Court allowed a conditional release of his passport, from next Tuesday to February 10th.

The court said Musa can only to head to these countries and report to the Malaysian High Commission there, or face forfeiture of his bail.

Musa claimed trial in November last year to 35 corruption charges related to timber concessionaires.

Meanwhile, Musa's son Yamani Hafez Musa took his oath as Sipitang MP today, nine days before the January 16th deadline.

Before this, Yamani was the only MP who had yet to be sworn in.

He had been missing without a trace for eight months; first accompanying his father to seek medical treatment in the UK, but not returning when his father did.
