The Deputy Prime Minister has reminded Malaysians to respect the country's sensitivities before issuing public statements.
Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail says while Malaysia practises freedom of speech, there are some things that need to be filtered to ensure public order.
This, in the aftermath of veteran journalist Datuk A Kadir Jasin's recent article on the monarchy.
Following his blog post, Kadir resigned as spokesman for the Council of Eminent Persons.
