Government proposes regular health checks for teacher

The Education Ministry has proposed regular health checks for teachers. 

It says teachers should undergo a thorough examination every three to four years, to ensure they are physically and mentally healthy.

This, following the case of a teacher in Kulim, who flew into a rage during a school meeting this week, with the incident caught on camera. 

The teacher in question has since been transfered pending an investigation into the issue.
