Dayak Congress defends Chief Justice appointment

The Dayak National Congress has defended the appointment of Tan Sri Richard Malanjum as Chief Justice.
It says he was the most suitable candidate as he was the most senior Federal Court judge.
The appointment was criticised by some, because he's not a Muslim.
However, the DNC pointed out that Sabahans and Sarawakians have every right to be appointed to the highest positions, if they are qualified.
