Reports of volcanic eruption causing flu outbreak, fake

Reports that the Mount Sinabung volcanic eruption in Indonesia is causing a flu outbreak in Malaysia is fake news.

The government says many Malaysians have been falling sick because of the uncertain weather conditions even before the volcano erupted.

Also, it's unlikely any volcanic ash would reach our country because the winds are blowing towards Sumatra at the moment.
