Health Ministry welcomes MACC probe into monopoly allegations

The Health Ministry has welcomed an investigation by the MACC into allegations that a company has a monopoly on the supply of medicine in the country.
Minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad says the Commission will act if there is any malpractice, while the ministry will strive to provide value for money.
Reports last week claimed that a monopoly on medicine supplies could have increased the cost of drugs at government hospitals and clinics.
