Malaysia likely to receive excess rainfall

Malaysia is likely to receive about 20% of excess rainfall this year during the upcoming monsoon season.
The Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research says this could result in flooding.
Meanwhile, all flood evacuees in Melaka were allowed to return home yesterday after flash floods that struck in the morning subsided.
State authorities believe a 3-hour-long downpour was one of the causes of the flash floods.
