Health Ministry investigates allegations of poisonous honey

The Health Ministry is investigating allegations that a honey product from Australia contained toxins and poisonous ingredients.

This, after it received an official complaint about the product that is widely sold in Malaysia.

The Ministry says test results are expected to be known next week.

It adds that it has the authority to stop the import and sale of the product in Malaysia, if the claims are found to be true.
