Mar 10, 2017

The IGP has confirmed that the North Korean man killed at KLIA2 last month, previously known as Kim Chol, is indeed Kim Jong Nam.

This is the first time authorities have officially identified the deceased as the half brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar did not elaborate on how he came to this conclusion, or whether DNA samples from the next of kin is still needed to identify the body.

The IGP adds that the cops are done with the probe, and will now hand over Jong Nam's body to the Health Ministry.
